Title: Just played PS3
Post by: Laughing Turd on March 22, 2014, 08:18:57 pm
for the first time since I put my PC together. The reason I got on was because I really wanted to play Battlefield but Battlefield 4 is a piece of **** game on PC. Even though it was a bit rough on the visual and performance side, I had a lot of fun.  also, i love that the controller vibrates. such a cool feature that you take for granted.

anyone want to squad up or play something?

anyway, discuss the differences between console gaming and pc gaming here. i think it's an interesting topic. any other pc guys want to weigh in?

I miss veitcong, friends banned shotguns becuase of me. Three ak47 users would lose to a remington 870 user 8/10. I think that is when I started understanding how I could be an annoying shotgunner.

I also miss need for speed and downloading cars that were awesome or just ones that were for laughs. I wrecked a joystick in 1 day of play, completely broke it in a week. After that I had a steering wheel that was even better to use.

I wish they made games like delta force, co op missions like hostage rescue, gather intel, destory enemy storage/weapons/base was fun. Four people working together was hard but rewarding, I trolled before I knew what trolling was (finish mission and tk the whole squad after getting mission complete).

I feel like I'm the only person that disables rumble in controllers all the time. At least, up until the PS4. The PS4 controller allows for much more immersion, so the rumble really adds to it. Before this it has always annoyed me. The speaker built in to it is great, and when done correctly is a nice touch. For instance, in inFamous: SS, when your phone rings you get a slight rumble and the ring tone on your controller. Not only that, but it's the Sly theme. That helps, too.  O0

I like Skyrim better on PC... but I still prefer PS4 for FPS (but that is mostly because of my inexperience with PC FPS).
