Title: Re: Reds NFL Mock Draft 1.0 Post by: Ice on April 27, 2014, 01:29:11 pm I don't think the Ravens will take Kelvin Benjamin that high. The Ravens are very smart with drafting and always select best player available (they traded down I believe in 2008 to acquire more assets because they felt that Joe Flacco would be available lower in the draft, and also waited extra long before taking a safety in 2006 in Dawan Landry, who was serviceable). I think that would be a huge reach, especially if Marqise Lee is available (don't know who is considered better).
Is Aaron Donald regarded as a guy to take in the top 6 though? Ahead of Mack? The Giants could take Dennard unless Barr is available or something. I feel like they have a good secondary already but doesn't hurt to bolster the secondary even more if he is the best player available. Title: Re: Reds NFL Mock Draft 1.0 Post by: dudedudedude for Moderator on April 27, 2014, 01:32:22 pm Dennard isn't the best player available. Stiff hips.
I still don't like Donald. His tape is great, but short arms at DT is a problem. Put him up against a guard with 35 inch arms and he gets pushed back every time no matter how quick his release is.
