16  General Discussion / Entertainment / The All-Seeing Eye / Re: is there anyone here that is actually against kechua marriage on: August 21, 2012, 05:21:35 pm
Right now, marriage is defined as a relationship between a man and woman.  The kechua are looking to redefine marriage to include relationships outside of a man and woman.

So, if we are looking to break marriage, then who do we allow to get married?  If the kechua can marry, why not the polygamist, why not John Q American and Henry the Squirrel?  Who gets to say which American citizens are allowed to document their love?  kechua lawyers?

Civil unions are the answer.  A documented life partnership between two human beings.  John and Henry could not have a civil union, but they could have their marriage ceremony no problem.  Civil unions get rid of the fuzzy stuff.  It is the right choice.  Tell your kechua friends.

My name is John Q. American.  Today, I was taking a nice walk outside when I came upon the cutest little squirrel.  I recently was left by my wife for an African American male who refers to her as his "puff pastry."  I saw something in this squirrel that I never saw in my wife.  Curiosity, innocence, sincerity.  I kneeled down and the little fella ran over to me and jumped on my lap.  I knew I could never live another day without Henry the Squirrel.

My kids thinks I'm crazy, I lost my job because I posted pictures of a squirrel in a heart shaped frame.  It is a cruel world.  To think, two men can march half naked down a public street in our nation's capital, groping each other and making sure every person in town knows they are not straight.  Yet, I can not quietly express my love for my new best friend and life partner, Henry the Squirrel.  I pay taxes, I am a decent man.  So I love someone that society can not understand?  Why shouldn't I have the same rights as anyone else?  My name is John and I need love too.

But whatever.  I have a friend who is an ordained minister through Universal Life Church.  He is going to marry myself and Henry next Monday.  It will be a wonderful service and the reception will have filet mignon, dancing, and an open bar.  It won't be recognized by the government, but at least I'll have the comfort of knowing our friends and family know of our commitment to each other.

If the kechua get the same rights, so should the polygamists and animal lovers.

Hell, let's drop the age of consent to 12.  If you open the floodgates, let everybody in, as long as they are paying taxes.

So actually, the age of consent should be the day they are paying income tax.
Old enough to pay taxes?  You're a full fledged citizen in my book.

If a man can marry a man, another man should be able to marry the 3.5 pound trout he caught fishing this morning.  Who is the government to tell him who he can and can not love.  That fish connects with him on a level you rednecks will never understand.

No they are not all lazy.  Some of them were quite active in bed and had 10 children even though they work at Burger King.

Which brings me to another point, 2 children max per family.  China knows.

I'm down for a full on revolution.  Even if Ron Paul made it in office, nothing would happen as Congress is the group really in charge.

Unfortunately, our culture is full of hipster girls.  Our revolution will just be a bunch of smart phones video recording each other video recording each other.

Oh well...  they won, game over.  We are all slaves.

Does anyone here play Team Fortress 2?

Let's play tonight or this week.

I am a former TF Classic pro, I am falling into the new game quickly.

I can not have friends on Steam because I do not own a game, I only have free games...

So instead add me on FB and you can message me when you can play and we will meet in a server.

yeah, rather than supporting the problem, we should fix it.  do not give out free money to some moron living a life of mcdonalds and kim kardashian

get rid of the social programs, put some of that money into the EDUCATION system, and watch the country transform!

let me tell you something, if we stopped sending out unemployment checks tomorrow, you'll instantly see the unemployment rate drop from ~8% to 2-3%.

economy will get a real boost

government saves money, and can reduce debt and even throw more money at colleges

imagine the things we could do if they cut medicare and social security!

if people want social security, they can invest into their retirement as they work.  no work = no check.

people want the rich to pay their fair share.  well the people who are leaching off our tax dollars should WORK their fair share!

-------

now, let me repeat, I am NOT against social programs.  I would welcome a system that can sustain them.  unfortunately, our system can NOT sustain social programs.  It will take 100 years of the right reform to responsibly bring them back.

I understand the the left's fear though.  Will unregulated capitalism lead to a feudalist society?  Monarchy through money?

They say Capitalism is supposed to balance itself out.

I suppose it would work a lot better if the 1% didn't hoard all their money.
24  General Discussion / Entertainment / The All-Seeing Eye / Re: ehh i think i may vote for romney after all... on: August 20, 2012, 03:11:23 pm
You know, I wrote a huge mass of text for this, but I just felt like I would never stop typing.

I like Communism and I like Capitalism.  However, I don't think you can mix them.

I think the forefathers' started us off well.  Then, I think politicians screwed us.  I don't blame corporations so much, as they are just doing what the law requires of them.  Corporations have a responsibility to maintain and increase shareholder value...

Politicians have a responsibility to serve in the best interest of their governing regions, and I think they are the ones who are sour.  They get bought out and serve the interests of the few, not the many.

We BROKE the system, and now we are paying for it.

Income tax, medicare, social security, a central bank, etc etc.  We really strayed from our country's roots.  You see, people FREAK out when there is a economic downturn, this leads to panic decisions.  We need to fix the economy NOW.  Politicians design bogus crap that nurtures the panic.  Through time, we break the system.

Ron Paul has it right.  Go back to the Constitution.  There is no other way to look at it in my opinion.

Social security and all that will only work in a communist environment.  All these wild programs take money out of the marketplace, which is bad, especially for the lower classes.

1.  Put us back on the gold standard
2.  Abolish the federal reserve
3.  End all left aid programs
4.  Kill income tax
5.  Return us to the Constitution
6.  Let the states determine the finer laws

If I may add, and I know this goes against what I just said,
I think all politicians should have Master's degrees at minimum.

I can't believe what type of people we let run this country, and control nuclear weapons!  Yikes.

If you stay in the friend zone long enough she will have sex with you.
26  General Discussion / Entertainment / The All-Seeing Eye / Re: is there anyone here that is actually against kechua marriage on: August 20, 2012, 02:14:04 pm
i am against it more so on a legal standpoint than moral standpoint.  i don't like it but to each his own.

I voted against it based on legal grounds.  I want civil unions because marriage shouldn't be recognized by the government.

Marriage is full of segregation, but no the type you are thinking of.  Married couples get tax breaks and other benefits.  Those who are unable to get married, like many of you dweebs, are unable to get access to these benefits simply because girls don't like you.  Why should you not have access to the same privileges as the beautiful and compatible?

This brings us to civil unions.  A hetero couple in love can apply for it.  Two kechua boys or two kechua girls can apply for it.  Two roommates can apply for it.

It affords you the same legal privileges as marriage, without the the fuss and buss the the man-ladies are pushin.

Marriage segregates a much larger majority of the population than the kechua.

My plan says that you must share residence for 2 years before applying for civil union status.

Though, you are more than welcome to go through your ceremony, exchange rings, get the minister, whatever.  The ritual is just a ritual.  But for the government to recognize your civil union, you must live together for 2 years.

This is the best plan for everyone.  The kechua are selfish.

Under this plan, couples can also include multiple partners.  Civil unions are not restricted to only two.  2 guys 1 girl?  3 girls 1 guy?  Whatever.  It is a civil union, not a marriage.  Those in a civil union do not necessarily have sex.  It is merely a life partnership.  If they do have sex, who cares.  The government can make polygamous marriages illegal yet it is legal to have orgies?

Get rid of all the legal BS.

---------

I voted against kechua marriage because if it is legalized, I will lose my "freedom fighters."  Without their whining and protesting, I will never get my dream of civil unions.  If it is legalized, the ideal system will never come to be.  They must keep fighting, but for something new to earn my vote.

Are you allowed to have loud sex if the sex includes your room mates?
29  General Discussion / Entertainment / The All-Seeing Eye / Re: An in depth analysis of why Weed should not be legalized on: August 12, 2012, 12:26:26 am
Nearly every decision made in government is based on assumptions.  This is why many programs fail.

We make decisions to try and improve upon the current system.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Remember the prohibition?  That didn't last long.

Everything is based on assumptions...  economic policy, foreign policy, healthcare programs, etc.

At least some assumptions are more well reasoned than others.

Your topic claims that you have depth and analysis?  Your only argument is that we don't have a time machine to prove that the benefits of legal wiid are real.  Good stuff, you win moron.  I have no time machine, and I am not going to waste my time surveying the nation on wiid.

Eventually, our society is going to vote it legal, unfortunately, a few more old people need to die off first so the younger voters gain control.
