Thanks, jd. This is a scary time. Hope you and yours stays safe.
I can taste and smell again. Dizziness is gone. Occasional cough. Feeling better every day. Health Department called today and said that the rest of us have to stay inside until April 4.
Ironically, the New York Times just came out with an article that says doctors feel that lack of smell/taste should be the number one indicator that you are getting it. That was the first symptom I had.
I hope people post here and let us know how they are doing.

No posts for over a week. Wow. I hope you all are doing well. I'll share my COVID-19 story. Hopefully it'll help us all to do what we need to in order to get out of this.
My wife works in healthcare, and was infected on or about March 1. The aches and chills hit her pretty hard, and she started having some pain when coughing. Her coworker had flu-like symptoms a few days prior, and my wife just assumed she had the flu. Well over a week after the coworker's symptoms, the coworker was hospitalized. They finally decided to test for COVID-19 (2 weeks after her symptoms appeared), and it was positive.
Of course, they now wanted to test my wife, and she was positive. This was Monday March 16. We had started self-quarantining anyway, because it didn't seem like the flu. I started feeling some symptoms last Friday (more like a cold), and same with my oldest, who was visiting from NYC. My 2 youngest (now 14 and 21) are symptom free.
My wife is almost 100% now. She is cleared to leave the house this coming Monday, which is almost 3 weeks after her estimated infection.
I have congestion, some aches and joint pain, a cough, minor dizziness, and total lack of smell and taste (6 days now). It's annoying as hell, but I've been sicker. Feeling better every day, including today.
My message is: if you feel sick, please stay away from people. Most of us are going to get this, and most of us will be fine. We need to avoid each other in order to flatten the curve, and give our healthcare industry time to catch up with more equipment and research. It's going to suck, and it's going to take possibly months. Life is only going to get more and more difficult.
Stay safe, everyone!
