@ BadDaddy

Oh no...you're not getting out that easy.  OGs will be posted on the EA boards, too.  You and Cutie better keep coming.

Hey daddy!  I should have stopped here first.  I just replied to your EA post, then saw that you already registered here.

No one was intentionally excluded from the development.  No one will be excluded in the future.

It really wasn't a clan thing. fortunz posted a thread on GF for people to vote for mods or admins for a new site. The overall goal was to make it more clan-friendly than GF, yet still a user friendly site for Wii gamers.

I received a vote, and thought nothing of it.  Then fortunz personally contacted me and asked if I wanted to help.  I agreed because it was a great bunch of people participating, and I loved the idea of a site run by Wii gamers, and for Wii gamers.  (Oh, and I'm not in a clan.)

After a lot of effort by quite a few people, WiiUnite was born.  Despite all the effort by fortunz, he completely refused to be an admin or even a mod.  We all tried to change his mind, but he feels the integrity of the site will be greater if he steps down and "hands over the keys" to the community.

Your name actually came up in recent discussions.  We were all hoping that you would register here.  Also, if you want TM to have their own board here, all you need to do is ask. You can even mod (or assign a mod to) your own clan's board.

Glad you made it!
8376  General Boards / Feedback / Big thanks... on: October 01, 2008, 12:16:48 pm
...to fortunz for putting all this together.  This was a tremendous idea, and never would have evolved without your vision (and disgust with GF).

...to Occie and Ohio.  You guys really stepped up in the admin role to get this online.  In such a short period of time, too.

Thanks guys!
B

You guys are fast!

We're not a clan in the classic sense - we don't have practices, scrims, or wars, but we do host a (usually) weekly MoHH2 event that's a lot of fun. We're a noncompetetive group that likes to get together and have fun while enjoying cold beverages.

We're currently based out of the EA forums but transitioning to WiiUnite. To join, just reply, and someone from the clan will jump you in. Must be 21 to join.

OG Q&A with BC Hollywood:

Can you describe one (or more) of your favorite clan war(s) or scrimmage(s)?
We hosted a match in the Village called "Beer & Shots" once. A couple of us were doing the house glitch and when someone would come near it we'd jump down on top of them all WWF style and scream into the mic "OFF THE TOP ROPE!!!"

What Wii title is your clan most looking forward to?
Any online FPS for the wii.

Does your clan use Voice Chat, and if so, What kind? Is it required for membership?
Yes, Skype. Not required, but makes for a much more fun experience.

Who are some of your best players and what is their specialty?
undrclsshero - STG44 and Coors Tallboys. If they aren't the talls, he won't even play.
BManPitt - Shotgun and obscure pop culture references.
ZH "The Mouth" Fury - On Skype, this guy's the life of the party. He also likes getting shot with the pistol.
OhioLawyerF5 - Master of the tbag (and the new "tree-bag")

Not a real clan, per se, but it would be nice to have a place to organize our blurry events.

He spammed the board for the last 3 days.  Took forever to delete all those posts.

Hey DREAMR...the "tournament" posts were code so the messages wouldn't get modded by GF.

Read the welcome topic, but also see this: http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?messageID=3517168
