1  Flame-Wars ( Rated-R ) / Backdraft / Re: TKO: Scum? on: February 19, 2009, 07:52:24 pm

Ummm, I may have mentioned in my previous post(s) but we DID offer that. We offered many alternatives:

1) Cancel war
2) Redo whole war since it became a match of who can nitpick rules more, not skill
3) What you suggested - 1-1 and play 3rd for win.

Since we won first by 5 and they won 2nd by 1, 3rd host was us (this method was agreed upon). This is why they were refusing to do anything except "give us win for first one still and we will redo 2nd." Why should we agree to stay with the disadvantage when both teams screwed up? Shouldn't it be a fair 1-1? We offered all 3 alternatives many times, but they refused to budge. Like I said above, if TKO was the type to blindly accept wins at the cost of boards like this, I would be out so fast that they wouldn't know where I went.

hmmm.  where in those options does TKO get the win without the 3rd match?  That is where my problem is.

Now I wasn't here for any of this but I talked with the guys from TKO for details on what happened. Basically Jerk offered all of those options and IMO they actually look decent. Re-doing the entire war at a different time would be better way to end this than what really did happen. The reason that they disputed on the reason of ineligible player is because BC had reported that they won the war. They didn't want the loss and knew they didn't deserve the win but it was just a chain of events I guess.

I wouldn't know anything about the agreements on the ineligible player because as I said before, I wasn't there. Gamebattles rules are very stupid and it's a shame how many fights start over it. When we used clan ladders through GameFAQs on MoH, there was almost never a problem. Hopefully on The Conduit we can create a separate ladder on Wii Unite where it wouldn't cause any trouble. I would say the same about CoD, but I think it's too late because everyone is too obsessed with their current Gamebattles scores already.

It shouldn't have been taken as far as to create flame threads about it. Honestly, just a full cancellation would have been the best way to go.

stone try using the pinnacle software you end up with excellent quality when all said and done.
www.youtube.com/PhilMeKrotch (my dazzle test vid on there)
My quality is already that good. I think I need to get pinnacle studio though because it seems a lot better than wmm

I have the same dazzle (dvc100). I use the pinnacle dvd recorder to record my clips, then I go to windows movie maker and import video. Find the folder where it is saved then change the filter from "picture and video files" to all files. There should be about 5 things in the folder now, pick the bottom one (should be .vob) and your video is now imported to WMM. good luck Afro

When you're on the leaderboards that show all your friends, press 1 and it goes to global. Then you can hit 2 to go to the top of the list

I was posting this on gamefaqs until someone on the chat told me you made this thread. Well I just noticed it too. This morning I took a picture of the leaderboard like I usually do every time I prestige, came back later and saw two level 65's that were not on prestige. So I took a look back at my picture, and there was only one person with level 65 no prestige in the top 15.

Heres the picture of this morning:

And here is the current one as of 1:24pm EST

They both have the same stats, except one has more wins than the other. There is now an extra person that everyone below his rank must pass to rank up higher.
9  Gaming Boards / Call of Duty: World at War / Re: Stone IS a bad host O.o on: December 30, 2008, 08:56:41 pm
I was lagging as well (even though I was host). 5 connections through 1 router doesn't help much I guess, especially when your mom is downloading stuff. You played me before when I was a host, and came to our chat afterwards. There was no lag, it's kind of random and everyone knows this game has crappy servers. I guess i'll try not to host as much then

are you saying they used your plans in their wars? or that they used it to know what you guys were doing and use that against you?

Something like this happened on MoH, did it not? it's bound to happen again

12  Gaming Boards / Call of Duty: World at War / Finally made a (good) montage on: December 29, 2008, 12:02:37 am
Using my new dazzle I finally made a good (quality) montage. If anyone saw that one I posted last month, forget you ever saw it because I removed it anyway Afro Youtube had been blocking it on every upload for copyright on the music so I had to keep changing it. Also if you don't like the music play your own and mute the vid, you hope you enjoy.

You can get better quality if you watch the video on youtube instead of the mini embed

If this gets good reviews i'll probably post it on gamefaqs

13  Gaming Boards / Call of Duty: World at War / Re: @ Pwna and TKOctive on: December 27, 2008, 10:05:22 am
You are letting one person make you lose respect for a whole clan? I personally know that he uses them a lot because every time I played with him he was on the other team (I don't even have him added). I never have the chance to ask him why because he doesn't get on the site much. Well i'm sorry you had to go through that.

On a side note, have you ever played people from [IGN]? it seems like the whole clan is based on rifle nading
14  Gaming Boards / Call of Duty: World at War / Re: Wii down for the count. on: December 21, 2008, 10:52:39 am
Pretty sure I played with you last night as I was working on sniping for the first time (didn't go to well), then when we hit asylum (if you were still there) my teammates went on a tking rampage for the whole game while I carried the team with almost 50 kills  Cheesy
